Advocating for difference as a social norm
We recognise the need for difference to be normalised in society. Appearance, relationship and neuro diversity are a fact of life for many individuals and yet all are still widely under-represented and unacknowledged in mainstream counselling and psychotherapy. We’re here to change that!
Who Are We?
We are a progressive, forward thinking Counselling and Psychotherapy practice, actively engaging with difference. We provide therapeutic support, education and advocacy for individuals 18+ who experience the world through an alternative lens.
Our work centres around supporting individuals who experience feelings of ‘difference’ and ‘otherness’ when relating socially with others.
Therapy With A Difference – Let’s Play!
Not only do we advocate for difference being recognised as a societal normalcy, we’re also a UK based therapy practice embracing the geek/nerd culture, by bringing curiosity and play into the therapeutic space.
Lived Experience
Our rapidly growing multi-disciplinary team of therapists managed from our base in Bristol UK, are all experienced and knowledgeable practitioners within the field of counselling, psychotherapy and psychology, with a strong focus on continued professional development through in-house training and regular supervision.
Our therapists are carefully selected based on their own lived experience of difference, so that you receive the upmost care, compassion and understanding in your therapy sessions.
